Stephen Morin was a American serial killer who killed at least three women during the 1980s. He was born on February 19, 1951, in Texas, and was raised in various cities across Texas and Oklahoma.
Morin was a career criminal and spent most of his adult life in and out of prison for various crimes, including theft, burglary, and drug offenses. He was also known for his violent behavior towards women.
In 1981, Morin began a killing spree that spanned across several states, including Texas, Colorado, and Florida. He would often target women who were traveling alone, and then rape and murder them.
Morin was eventually caught in 1984, when he was found in possession of a stolen car and firearms. He was sentenced to death for the murder of a 21-year-old woman in Texas, and he was also convicted of murders in Colorado and Florida.
However, Morin's death sentence was overturned in 1985, and he was eventually sentenced to life in prison. He died in 1985, while still imprisoned, at the age of 34.
